My Birthday Wishlist

I turn 28 this September, and I find that as I get older, the less I actually want for my birthday. This is incredibly frustrating for my Husband, who likes to spoil me but never knows what to get. Me? I’m just happy with a bunch of flowers, a takeaway and a good book to read.

This isn’t so much a list of things I’m desperate to have for my birthday (That’d be a bit rude and selfish of me to expect these items), this is more of a list of things I’d like to get over the course of the next few months. If I can get some for my birthday, that’d be a wonderful thing!

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick collection (£23.00, Charlottetilbury.com) – To be honest, this whole freaking range is incredible, I want the whole lot! I own one Charlotte Tilbury lipstick that I purchased on a business trip to London last year in the shade Amazing Grace, and I love it so much! The colours Secret Selma, Hel’s Bells, Miranda May and Very Victoria caught my eye, but I would gladly buy any one of these colours! I don’t own very many high-end lipsticks, but the ones I do have I treasure dearly!  I’d settle for the entire Charlotte Tilbury lipstick range, so any of the other lipsticks would be very much appreciated if they were to come my way!

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop collection (prices vary, Sephora.com) – As I don’t live in the USA, this collection is incredibly difficult to get hold of. I wanted that new palette SO MUCH, but couldn’t get it delivered to my address as it was too expensive. Champagne Pop is amazing, and Prosecco Pop looked incredible! There’s also been some split pan blush/highlighters released, which also look incredible. Amaretto, Flowerchild and Pamplemousse look right up my street, and I just love the packaging. I’ve never owned any Becca products, but their entire range looks amazing, and I would love to add it to my collection.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Soft Luxe range (prices start from £4.99, Superdrug) – I’ve got a few of Tanya Burr’s cosmetics from her previous range (Her cheek palette is amazing!), and really would like to try a few of her new products. As you may know, I’m a big liquid lipstick fan, and her new shades look incredible! Martha Moo looks like my favourite, but I’d also like to try Rhubarb and Custard, too. Her new eye palettes look great, especially Birthday Suit; I’ve heard good things about them, so I’m hoping to be able to purchase these soon!

Nars Multiples (£29.00, narscosmetics.co.uk) – I have a couple of Nars blushes, and an eyeshadow duo, but I love the concept of this product, and wouldn’t mind giving it a try! I love the look of shades Laos, Copacabana, G-spot and the ever popular Orgasm (I LOVE this blush!). The fact it has multiple uses means it would be so handy to take on holiday or keep in your handbag for on-the-go touchups.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder (£40.00, spaceNK.co.uk) – I already have the trio palette that was given to me a year or so ago (Lucky girl!) and have fallen in love with it. I would love to have the individual products, as the palette contains smaller versions of these powders, which can prove difficult to get them without creating a mess. I would love the shades Diffused Light, Radiant Light and Luminous Light (I have two smaller versions of the first two mentioned, but would love to try the last one). This is an absolutely ridiculous amount to spend on a face powder that I couldn’t justify spending on myself, but if it was given as a gift, I’d be more than willing to accept it!

Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone: Illustrated Edition (Hardcover, £15.00, Amazon.co.uk) – I love these books so, so much; I’ve got a very well-thumbed paperback and e-book edition, but would love these illustrated versions! I have daydreams about reading these books to my Son when he’s a little older, and these illustrated copies would make it that little bit more special. I grew up reading these books, and they’ve been reread through some difficult moments in my life, so I have a special affinity to them. I think only the first book is available at the moment, with the second one available for pre-order, but these collectors editions would be an incredibly special gift.

What would you have on your birthday wishlist?
