29! Just one more year until I hit the dreaded three zero. I haven’t been looking forward to this birthday; not because I’m getting older but my birthday falls right before children go back to school, and I’m starting a new job this September which I’m dreading (excited too, but mostly scared). What I really want is just a day to relax with my Husband and Son. But if they insist on getting me a gift, I’m hoping it’s something from this list!
Urban Decay Naked Eye Shadow Palette (RRP £39.50, urbandecay.co.uk) – I have the Naked II palette, and use it a lot, but I’d like to try the original one because I’ve heard it’s the best. The colours are all ones that I reach for on a daily basis so I know it’d get a lot of use, and Urban Decay formulas are some of the best.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette (£39.00, Debenhams) – I still haven’t got this, and I think it featured on a wish list I wrote earlier! I haven’t tried any of the Too Faced Eye Shadow Palettes yet, and I think I may be the only one as everyone seems to have one version or another. This one seems like it’d be my favourite as I love how warm and ‘summery’ the shades look, so I really hope I get this one.
Olympus PEN E-PL8 Compact Camera (RRP £549.95, Johnlewis.co.uk) – Now, even I know that there is no way anyone is going to buy me this camera, but that doesn’t stop me hoping! I’ve had my eye on the Olympus Pen cameras for a while now (who hasn’t?) and all my Christmases would come at once if I could own one. I quite like the white one, but this tan one caught my eye and I am obsessed with it! It would be a real investment, but my word wouldn’t it be worth it?!
iPhone 7 Plus 128GB in the shade Rose Gold (£819.00, Apple.co.uk) – If I couldn’t have a camera, I’d love a new iPhone! I’m using an older model, but since starting blogging last year I use my phone a lot more than I used to, so I’d love a newer model that’s bigger and has a better camera. As the newest iPhone has portrait mode, I’ve heard it’s just as good as a normal digital camera, so would be really handy for blog photos. And the fact its pink is just an added bonus. Hey, a girl can dream, can’t she?
HP Sproket Printer (RRP £99.00, from amazon.co.uk) – I saw that quite a few bloggers and YouTubers had been gifted these, and they are just fab! I love printing pictures, especially of my son as I’m very aware of the fact that most of the pictures I have of him are electronic. If ever I lost my phone, or my computer or external hard-drive broke I’d have nothing. So I’m getting into the habit of printing off a whole bunch of images every few months, and this would make the process easier.
Floral Monogram Letter ‘G’ Mug (£12.00, Etsy) – In line with starting a new job, I need a new mug from which to drink all the coffee I’ll inevitably consume! This is a gorgeous floral print, and makes a nice change to the traditional monogrammed letters. I quite like the mugs from Anthropologie, and there are quite a lot of ‘G’ mugs I also want, but I thought this was a gorgeous addition from Etsy – who remains the undisputed King of gifts!
Kiehls Super Multi Corrective Cream (RRP £49.00, Kiehls.co.uk) – I’ve been using the Kiehls Midnight Recovery Oil, and have recently finished the Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream, so I’d like to try some more of their anti-aging products. This caught my eye as it targets the main signs of aging by reducing the appearance of wrinkles and firming skin. I also like the look of the Cream Eye Treatment with Avocado (£34.00) and the Rosa Arctica range (from £37.00), but I thought I’d start with this one first, and see how I get on.
Is there anything you want this month?
