Everyone who loves shopping will know that browsing for gifts for other people always turns into a cheeky purchase for yourself…Welcome to Blogmas Day 11!
Whether we like it or not, Christmas is fast approaching! Rob and I always write a Christmas list of a few things we’ve got our eye on. It always makes it easier for the other person to know what to get, takes the stress out of gift shopping but also guarantees that you end up with something you genuinely wanted.
Here are a few of the things on my gift list:
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Hardback Illustrated addition (RRP £15.00, Amazon.co.uk)
I’ve had the previous two in the collection for Christmas, and as they’re releasing a new one each year I have a feeling that I’ll ask for one each year too! I absolutely love this collection; the books are so beautifully illustrated, it really brings the story to life again. It doesn’t matter how many times I read this series, I fall in love with it again each time. These books really are something special.
Heeled Ankle Boots
I’m really picky when it comes to heeled ankle boots; I’ve been looking for a new pair for absolutely ages, but the ones I see are either too high or not high enough, I don’t like the buckles or I’m not keen on the material. Nightmare! I saw this particular pair on ASOS, and whilst they’re not the colour I want, they’re definitely the style I’m after.
Canon EOS 200D Digital SLR Camera (RRP £519.00, John Lewis)
There’s absolutely no way I’ll be gifted this because it’s far too expensive, but it’s the camera I’ve been eyeing up for a while now. I’m saving to buy this one when it (possibly) comes down in price, but a girl can dream!
Red/Ecru squirrel pyjamas (RRP £22.00 from Next)
I love having new pyjamas to wear over Christmas, but I prefer Winter prints as opposed to outright Christmas prints, as I can wear them all year instead! I love Next pyjamas, and these flannel offerings caught my eye straight away. I had some flannel PJ’s from Next last year, and they are without a doubt the softest and comfiest PJ’s I’ve ever had.
Harry Potter Dressing Gown (RRP £16.00, Primark)
I’m noticing a bit of a trend here… I’ve got a few bits from the HarryPotterXPrimark range, but this particular item wasn’t stocked in my size in my local Primark. Do I need another dressing gown? No. Do I care? Not one single bit. It’s so incredibly soft; I can picture myself snuggled up in this watching the Harry Potter films over New Year.
Don’t forget to let me know in the comments what you’re asking Santa for this Christmas!
