The Hot List: January 2018

The first Hot List of 2018! I always like these posts; I find them such a reflective way of looking back on my month as a whole, and summarizing what the key moments were.

January has gone very well; I’ve been very busy at work and in private, so I’ve been able to find lots of content ideas for the next few months! My New Year’s Goals have been going well, too; so far I’ve been able to stick to all my focus points, so I consider January a roaring success!

What Am I Eating?
I’ve been back on the Slimming World plan with a vengeance, so my diet has consisted of plenty of fruits and vegetables. I brought a Slow Cooker in the January Sales (Is this a sign of getting old?!) and I have been enjoying very healthy and tasty meals with next to no prep work. My kind of cooking!

What Am I Drinking?
Water, water and more water!

What Am I Smelling Of?
Still obsessed with my Paco Rabanne Olympea perfume, although this has taken a back seat to my YSL Black Opium. I wore this throughout December, and can’t put it down in January.

What Am Using For Skincare?
Kiehls Midnight Recovery Oil, as standard.

What Am I Reading?
I’ve been trying to read every night before I go to bed, so I’ve been caning my ‘To Be Read’ list! At the moment, I’m reading Elizabeth is Missing by Emma Healy, and finding it very enjoyable!

What Am I Relaxing To?
I’ve been very busy this month, so haven’t really found the time to relax a whole lot. I think the only time I really get to sit and relax is about an hour before I go to bed!

What Am I Wearing?
My black Marks and Spencer coat with the faux fur collar. This is actually a maternity coat that I brought when I was pregnant with Owen back in 2015, but it’s so bloody comfy I wear it all the time!

What Am I Watching?
Grey’s Anatomy, as per.

What Am I Listening To?
Recently, it’s been my ‘One week’ playlist on Spotify, that contains all my old favourites. Also caning ‘The Greatest Showman’ playlist too. Amazing!

Where Am I Visiting?
We took Owen to the Sea Life Center for his birthday, but it’s been so wet and cold we’ve not had the opportunity to venture elsewhere. I’m hoping that Winter is on it’s way out now, because I’m getting fed up of staying indoors all the time.

Enjoy your February!
