Empties #3

The Autumn/Winter empties! There’s a few different products here, as I was trying to use up a number of different half-empty bottles in preparation for moving house, rather than wasting them.

There are quite a few more empties, but I’ve only included the ones that I’ve not mentioned before.

Clearasil Blackhead Cleaner

I use this whenever my skin is particularly dull or clogged, but it’s very rare I get a blackhead. This is extremely strong and strips everything from the skin, so for someone like me with combination oily skin it works very well!

Good things Bright Eye Cream

I bought this on a whim as I’m very careful with what I put under my eye area as it can be quite sensitive. So far, I’ve been pleased with the results. I wouldn’t say it is particularly groundbreaking in terms of its anti-ageing abilities; it does what many other creams do. Would I be tempted to buy it again? Maybe – if there was nothing else I fancied. However, it was nice and soothing to the under eye area, and left my skin feeling hydrated.

Hemp hand lotion, The Body Shop

Bloody love this stuff; I’ve even got my Husband addicted to using it on his knuckles! Perfect for the cold weather when your hands and elbows get very dry and sore. I’ve gone through so many of these beauties, and definitely won’t be letting up any day soon.

OGX shampoo

Another regular favourite! This is the anti-breakage variety for colour treated or heat exposed hair, and has worked like all their other products I’ve used. A regular repurchase of mine.

Rimmel Fix and Perfect face primer

I’ve tried several of Rimmel’s face primers and always liked them, but this one I wasn’t keen on. Despite being a matte product for oily skin I found it very greasy. Despite giving a matte finish eventually, I didn’t like the way it sat on my skin. It made my makeup look good and did what I wanted it to do, I just didn’t like the initial application.
